Who we are
Sunao is a web design studio based in the UK. When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means Sunao. Our website is sunao.co.uk and you can contact us at hello@sunao.co.uk.
What data we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send us. Providing your company name is optional. We do not collect any other personal data and we do not use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics tools on this website.
Why we collect it
We collect your contact details solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in communicating with potential clients, and where applicable, taking steps prior to entering into a contract.
How we use your data
Your details are used only to reply to your message. We will not add you to a mailing list, share your information with third parties for marketing purposes, or contact you for any reason unrelated to your enquiry.
How we store and share your data
Enquiries submitted through our contact form are delivered to us via Resend (resend.com), a transactional email service. Resend processes your data on our behalf as a data processor. Your message is delivered to our inbox and Resend retains delivery logs for a limited period in line with their own privacy policy. We do not store your personal data in any database or CRM.
How long we keep your data
We retain email correspondence for up to two years, after which it is deleted. If you would like your data removed sooner, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we process it, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your rights have been breached.
